I've seen a few users sharing their tips and tricks to overcome the creative block recently, and suffering from it myself I thought it was worth sharing Brian Eno's solution for it: the oblique strategies cards. (you can find them as a PDF here: ) It is not a new concept as he first released them to the public in 1975 but whenever I found myself stuck in one of these creative black hole days, I started randomly picking one of them and trying to apply its concept to music composition.
